A local kosher food pantry is working with the Food Bank for New York City to distribute Thanksgiving meals to families who are still struggling to recover after Sandy.
Volunteers are at the B'nai Raphael Chesed Food Pantry to distribute food for Thanksgiving, including hundreds of turkeys.
The Food Bank for New York City has been all around the city this month and was helping out in Coney Island earlier this week. It says it has handed out 20,000 meals this month to people citywide who are recovering from Sandy.
