The third suspect in the murder of Detective Russel Timoshenko was sentenced to life without parole Wednesday in Queens.
Lee Woods will also serve an additional 40 years for the attempted aggravated murder of Timoshenko's partner, Detective Herman Yan, as well as 25 more years for weapons possession.
Woods was convicted of Timoshenko's murder in March. A jury also found Dexter Bostic guilty of aggravated murder of Timoshenko, attempted aggravated murder of Yan and criminal weapons possession. Bostic will also serve life without parole, plus 55 years.
The third suspect, Robert Ellis, was convicted of weapons possession. He will serve 15 years behind bars.
