Let's brunch: Attendees drink up at the 6th annual Bloody Mary Festival
Sunday is a popular day for many people to go to brunch, and one event in Brooklyn is celebrating a classic brunch cocktail.
The sixth annual Bloody Mary Festival was held Sunday in Brooklyn and is considered to be the largest event of its kind.
Crowds of people packed Grand Prospect Hall in Park Slope all in the name of Bloody Mary.
The spicy drink is made with vodka and tomato juice, but event goers got a taste of some unique versions of the drink.
The festivities feature some of the best bartenders across the city, showing off their creative mixing skills.
A panel of industry judges will then choose which drink will be crowned the Best Bloody Mary in New York City.
Festival goers also have the chance to vote for their favorite Bloody Mary. That winner will get the People's Choice Award.
