A number of major film and TV productions have begun using The Bronx as their backdrop thanks to a number of incentives offered by New York City.
Today, the film "Lowlife" was filming on Hughes Avenue, bringing director James Gray, Joaquin Phoenix and Oscar-winner Marion Cotillard to the borough.
The TV show "Blue Bloods" has also been filming in Grand Concourse.
Many residents say that despite the traffic jams caused by the filming, the added business the film crews bring is a good thing for the borough.
The city says that all the filming that takes place across the borough adds an additional $5 billion to the local economy.
