The LIU Brooklyn Blackbirds will be under new leadership next season as head coach Jim Ferry bids farewell after 10 years.
Ferry will be leaving the downtown Brooklyn school to become head coach at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. He had led the Blackbirds to back-to-back Northeast Conference championships and consecutive trips to the NCAA tournament.
Jack Perri will take over for Ferry after spending the last seven seasons with the team as associate head coach.
