A new online artist directory is helping to boost the Bronx's increasing art scene.

With the help of the new online directory called BX200.com, many of the Bronx's finest artists have made their way to the web. BX200 was launched just two weeks ago and includes 10 different categories, including paintings and installation art.

BX200, that was created by artists Laura James and Valeri Larko, also features more than 200 artists who identify with the Bronx.

James and Larko say they have been working on the online art directory for a year and hope it connects local artists to curators, collectors and businesses.

The official launch party for the directory will be March 25 at The Bronx Museum of The Arts, but you can hop online now to see all the beautiful art work.
