A Bath Beach Catholic school will soon close its doors for good, leaving parents scrambling to relocate their children.
The Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn announced Wednesday that it plans to close Saint Finbar School, located at 1825 Bath Ave., in June. According to the diocese, the school only has 124 students enrolled for this year, and some classes have as little as 10 students.
Students, many of whom have been attending Saint Finbar since kindergarten, say they are disappointed.
"I came here since fifth grade and I'm not going to be able to graduate at Saint Finbar," says student Christian Inzerillo.
A Catholic school fair is planned to help parents figure out their options.
