PARADE WEATHER: Cold and rainy. Some gusts, but it doesn't look to be enough to ground balloons during the parade.
Make sure that if you are heading out that you pack layers, warm gear, rainproof clothes and shoes. It's going to be a dreary and sloppy start to Thanksgiving.
THANKSGIVING WEATHER OVERALL: Rain moves in during the very early morning and lingers throughout the majority of the day. Temperatures are such that this will be a rain event only.
Timing is early morning throughout the day, including your commute to your relatives' houses so make sure you allow extra time for your travels due to weather slowdowns beyond the expected traffic.
This will clear out by the nighttime, so your ride home will look a lot better.
Winds pick up during the day and continue on as the storm clears out. It is reasonable to expect anywhere from a half an inch to three quarters of an inch of rain. Temperatures during the day will only climb to around 48 with overnight temps in the higher 30s.
FRIDAY WEATHER: Breezy and cold, but dry! Temperatures are only in the mid 40s for highs and in the lower 30s for lows. Wind will make these temperatures feel much colder.
THE WEEKEND: The wind lingers into Saturday and calms more for Sunday. Both days look to be drier, but we are seeing some very cold weather move in by Sunday with highs only in the higher 30s and lows in the 20s. This cold snap will continue into the work week and even next weekend.
