Police: Man facing drug charges following compliance inspection

The man accused of killing a 29-year-old man in Morris Heights appeared in court on Thursday.

Clemente Boateng is accused of killing then 29-year-old Ronald Gomez Mesa after a road rage fight broke out along Phelon Place back on July 2.

Mesa's family called for no more delays and justice outside of Bronx Criminal Court. "To see you face to face, someone that actually killed your brother. It's hard," said Mesa's sister.

"I want justice, because my son was not a criminal," Mesa's mother tells News 12.

Boateng is due back in court next month.
