Man facing federal charges in Brooklyn after arrest for trying to firebomb U.S. Embassy office

Investigators say he was deported by Israel to New York where he is now being held, facing charges.

A man arrested for trying to firebomb a U.S. Embassy branch office in Israel, is in Brooklyn, facing federal charges.

The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York, says Joseph Neumeyer brought a backpack filled with Molotov cocktails outside an embassy office in Tel Aviv, Israel and made threats online.

Investigators say he was deported by Israel to New York where he is now being held, facing charges.

Neumeyer is a dual U.S. and German citizen, from Colorado.
