An elderly man was found dead in Sheepshead Bay Friday.

Police discovered the body of Vincent Zito with a gunshot wound to the head inside of a home on Emmons Avenue.

Officials tell News 12 a gun was recovered at the scene.

An investigation into the 77-year-old's death is ongoing.
