Man sought for Fourth of July shooting in Canarsie

Police are looking for a man they say opened fire inside striking a woman in the leg inside a restaurant in Canarsie.
The shooting happened inside a restaurant at 8920 Ave D. at 1:45 a.m.
Police say the man discharged a firearm inside the location. A bullet struck a 27-year-old woman in the right leg.
The man fled from the location in an unknown direction.
The woman was transported by EMS to Brookdale Hospital and is expected to be OK.
