Multiple people in Monsey say they were sprayed with an unknown substance in a series of incidents Thursday night.
Ramapo police say several reports came in from different parts of the neighborhood involving a black vehicle driving through local streets.
In some cases, objects were also thrown from the vehicle, according to police.
Investigators say they identified a vehicle believed to be involved and traced it to a home in Nanuet.
Police say the case remains active and more information will be released when appropriate.
Authorities note similar incidents were reported in Ramapo in 2022 and 2024 involving teens.
