The MTA warned straphangers in Bushwick Monday about upcoming closures on parts of the M line.
The closures will begin in summer 2017 so workers can repair overpasses.
Officials say they want to have the M line repairs done before the L train shuts down.
During the first phase of repairs, the MTA will suspend service at the Middle Village stop in Queens through Myrtle Avenue. Shuttle buses will pick up passengers at stops in between those stations.
During the second phase, an M train shuttle will run from Queens to the Myrtle-Wykoff stop so riders can transfer to the L train into the city.
After Myrtle Avenue, M trains to and from the city will be rerouted on the J line.
The MTA says it hopes to finish the repairs by spring 2018.
