The latest MTA fare and toll hike went into effect Sunday. 
Subway and bus riders will pay a base fare of $2.75, which is a 25-cent increase. For single MetroCard purchases, the fare jumped to $3. 
The seven-day pass went up to $31, while the unlimited monthly pass hit $116.50. 
E-ZPass tolls for cars and trucks went up 4 percent, with a 6 to 10 percent toll increase for those paying cash.
Riders on Metro-North, the Long Island Rail Road and Staten Island Railway can also expect to see a fare hike.
