City inspectors issued multiple violations against a Sunset Park landlord, almost a week after tenants from his three buildings vowed to not pay rent until action was taken.
Tenants who live in the buildings on 46th Street have an endless list of complaints about the buildings, including no hot water, missing handrails and mold growing in bathrooms. The buildings also have faulty electrical wiring, which cause rolling blackouts.
The building's landlord, Orazio Petito, was recently named by the city's public advocate as one of the worst in the city.
