This week marks the start of Ramadan, an Islamic holiday celebrated by over a billion Muslims worldwide.
The holiday is a time for reflection, discipline and devotion to God.
Muslims show their devotion by fasting from sunrise to sunset.
News 12 spoke with the Majid family, who was decorating with a wreath that says “Ramadan Mubarak”, which means Happy Ramadan in Arabic.
They say Ramadan is all about doing good deeds and giving back to the community.
