Some Gravesend residents are complaining about Halloween decorations at a house on East 3rd Street, which include three hanging figures that resemble bodies.
Jean Durante, the owner of the house at 2243 East 3rd St., says he has been hanging the holiday effigies for more than two decades and had never received complaints.
"It's something that we do because it pleases everybody," he says.
Some neighbors, however, disagree. They say Durante's decorations are offensive and should be taken down.
