Some legislators want to officially declare parts of New Jersey as -- Central Jersey.

The bill would allocate funds for tourism in the region, and even redraw the state tourism map to include -- at minimum -- counties such as Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex and Somerset.

The goal is to bring money into places in need of economic relief and showcase why the Garden State earned its name.
