A new fitness center is open in Bergen County with the goal of helping people enjoy life more through the benefits of a good stretch.

StretchLab Ridgewood had its grand opening Friday and offers customized assisted-stretching sessions to increase your range of motion and flexibility.

"Our motto is live long,” said owner Paul Girard. “It says that on the back of the wall because living isn't about how many years you live, but what you can do in those years. And we enable people to enjoy their lives a lot longer."

The studio already has close to 200 members.

The center is also holding free stretching demos all weekend.
