A New Haven family says their loved one’s missing headstone has finally been replaced and installed in her grave.
The family of Mammie Grinnan, who died of COVID-19 in November, says they paid $3,000 for a new headstone that was never delivered.
The family was initially told the gravestone ended up in Bridgeport, where it was never supposed to be.
The company that made the monument told News 12 the original headstone was damaged during delivery.
The new headstone has been installed at New Haven cemetery where Grinnan is buried.
