The interactive display's goal is to capture both the glamorous parts of the city and the not so glamorous parts. The stereotypical dreamy New York life as a painter, filmmaker, songwriter and more are portrayed in parts of the exhibit. Other parts highlight the close quarters many New Yorkers live in.
One of the most popular parts is the Songs of New York section. Visitors can take steps through each borough, prompting the most identifiable music to play from the last 100 years.
The exhibit will be open until July 2024. Visitors can attend on Thursdays from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. and Friday through Monday from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
