A new survey shows the commute to and from the office is getting worse for most drivers.
The annual study by GPS maker TomTom looked at morning and evening commutes in 200 cities around the globe.
The study found that each year a person spends an average of 168 hours stuck in traffic on the way home from the office.
The report also revealed the worst five cities for traffic congestion are Los Angeles, San Francisco, Honolulu, New York and Seattle.
Cities that relieved some of their rush hour congestion from last year, according to TomTom, are benefiting from things like bike lanes, retiming signals, and working with major employers to stagger the workday, so not everyone is on the roads at once.
