Legendary comedian Carol Burnett graced the stage of the Westchester County Center over the weekend, and even took time to speak with News 12.
Her one-night only appearance brought in a crowd of more than 3,000 people, including some fans as young as 12 years old. At 81 years old herself, Burnett proved she can stand the test of time and still work a room.
Burnett credits the laugh of the audience for keeping her going. She says the audience has been her partner for more than five decades and numerous seasons of "The Carol Burnett Show."
Burnett is undoubtedly a pioneer who has paved the way for female comics. When asked what she would want her legacy to be, she said it's only for people to say, "She made me laugh."
