This initiative, organized by the city’s Department of Transportation, has been around since 2008. However, this year’s event is unique due to the extended hours. From 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., cyclists and pedestrians can freely explore the area. Vibrant artwork also lines the route, adding to the festive atmosphere.
Citi Bike is offering free day passes for 24 hours, making it easier than ever to participate in the event. Whether you're on foot or on wheels, it's a perfect chance to soak up the summer sun while it lasts.
