Police say 20-year-old Veo Kelly turned himself in for the stabbing that took place outside of a bodega and was brought to the precinct one hour after.

Witnesses told News 12 the sisters rejected a man who tried to make advances toward them. Kelly allegedly left in anger then returned and stabbed 19-year-old Samyia Spain in the neck and her twin sister in the arm on Sunday night.

Samyia did not survive the attack. Her twin sister was hospitalized but has since been released.

Police walked Kelly out of the 78th Precinct on Friday afternoon, where family and friends of Spain shouted at him after waiting days for an arrest.

Memorial services for Samiya Spain are set to take place next Saturday.
