Police are offering a reward and asking for the public?s help to bring a Bedford-Stuyvesant teenage girl?s killer to justice.
The NYPD is offering a $22,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect, or suspects, in the beating and strangulation of 16-year-old Chanel Petro-Nixon. Her body was found June 22 in a garbage bag on Kingston Avenue. Petro-Nixon?s parents reported her missing after she left to apply for a job at a nearby Applebee?s, but failed to return home.
