As new details continue to emerge in the shooting of a plainclothes cop in Brooklyn, the NYPD officer and husband charged in the crime have pleaded not guilty.Police say Jose Rivera was driving a friend home early Saturday morning after a night of partying when he started shooting at a car full of police. One officer suffered a non-fatal bullet wound. Police later found Rivera?s bullet-ridden white Acura SUV a few blocks away with Rivera?s wife, Officer Jacquelyn Melendez Rivera behind the wheel. Prosecutors insist officer Rivera was trying to dispose of evidence. Jose Rivera has been charged with attempted murder.
