13h agoThe NYPD has released a video of a man they say tried to kidnap a 15-year-old girl this past Tuesday in Prospect Park.
The suspect is described as a Black man who is around 5 feet, 8 inches tall. He is approximately 30-40 years old. He was last seen wearing a white tank top, blue sweatpants and white sneakers.
Police say that the man approached the teen while she and her 13-year-old brother were playing basketball at a Prospect Park playground. He allegedly grabbed her, but she was able to break free.
Police say that she and her brother then ran to the 73rd Precinct for help.
