The Medical Examiner's Office says a fourth person has died from heat-related illness in the city.
News 12 was told the person died on Monday due to hyperthermia from environmental exposure to heat.
Officials say the death has been ruled an accident.
There is an average of 370 heat-related deaths in New York City per year, according to the latest Health Department report.
