A female NYPD officer is recovering after an attempted rape inside of a Brooklyn courthouse Friday.

According to a New York Post report, Jeriah Bamugo was on his way to face a judge for groping and menacing charges when he pounced on the officer, allegedly shouting “I'm going to have sex with you,” while clawing at her clothes.

A witness and other officers were able to get the 26-year-old off of the officer.

The officer was taken to the hospital for a concussion and back injuries.

Bamugo is expected to face additional charges for this incident.
