Ten groundskeepers at St. Raymond's Cemetery are outraged that they were laid off recently without any prior notice.
"We got a letter in the mail saying basically, 'your job's been terminated and thank you for your services,'" says Nicholas Milano, one of the laid off workers.
Milano says the cemetery left him and the others with nothing - including any severance or health care.
The director of the cemetery, John Griffin, says that it all came down to economics and that that while the layoffs were a tough choice, it was cheaper to hire outside contractors to do the work.
