Hundreds poured onto Nostrand Avenue Sunday to celebrate the borough's annual Haitian Day parade and festival.

Attendees say the event was a feast for the eyes and ears, with fun music and vibrantly colored outfits. Parade-goers pointed out the diversity of the crowd, saying you didn't need to be Haitian to enjoy yourself.

Organizers say the event was a success, even though the turnout was not their largest. Plans are already being made for next year's event.
