Two alleged child-abduction attempts in Marine Park have caused alarm among residents.
Police say the incidents, involving a 10-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy, happened just a few days apart. The incident involving the 10-year-old happened June 10 on East 27th Street, police say. The other was on June 13 at Avenue P and 35th Street.
There was no physical contact in either attempted abduction, police say.
Police are asking anyone with information about either incident to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
