A shooting on Avenue D in Flatbush Wednesday evening left the intended target in critical condition and a bystander wounded, police say.
Surveillance video taken near the scene shows people fleeing the gunfire around 7:30 p.m.
Police say they believe a 21-year-old man, now in critical condition, was the intended target. The bystander was a 67-year-old who police say they found about a 10-minute walk away on Nostrand Avenue.
Witnesses say they heard around 10 gunshots. One witness told News 12 that there has been gang-related violence in the area before.
Police say the suspect, or suspects, fled in a black SUV, possibly a Porsche with yellow New York license plates.
