Police say a 20-year-old woman was shot and killed inside an apartment in the Bronx Wednesday night.

Officials say shots were fired on the third floor of an apartment building on Hull Avenue just after 10 p.m. Wednesday. They say police rushed to the scene after receiving a 911 call about the gunshots.

When officers arrived, they say they found 20-year-old Deliah Vasquez unconscious and unresponsive. Police say she was brought to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi, where she was pronounced dead.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
