A source familiar with the double-murder of a divorce lawyer couple investigations says authorities could have a person-of-interest by the weekend.
Police remained on the scene Friday, two days after the murders, interviewing neighbors and family members. One sticking point for authorities is the couple's dog, which is known in the neighborhood as a good guard dog, but neighbors say he didn't make a sound the morning of the murders. Police say the dog wasn't hurt or tranquilized.
An officer is stationed in front of the couple's divorce law office around the corner from their Marine Park home. If anyone needs records, they are told not to come to the office, but to call.
Two of the slain couple's grandchildren came by Friday to pick up some belongings, and say the family will have funeral services next week.
