A shooting at an apartment in East New York Friday left a woman dead and her 26-year-old son hospitalized with serious injuries.
Police say the incident took place between Williams Avenue and Hegeman Street at 17 Louisiana Avenue just before 7 p.m.
A gun was recovered at the scene and a 52-year-old man was arrested, according to authorities. Police say the man was in a relationship with the woman.
