Police are searching for a group of men Wednesday wanted in connection to a string of robberies in the Bronx.
Authorities say the four men robbed a 39-year-old man selling merchandise along East 153rd Street and River Avenue on March 9. They say the men took an item from the victim's stand and said they weren't going to pay. The victim followed the men and that's when police say they pepper sprayed, punched and kicked him. The victim got his merchandise back and was treated at the hospital for swelling to the face.
Police say over the span of the next two days, the suspects robbed a 12-year-old boy of his phone at knifepoint and a 13-year-old boy of his scooter, cellphone and wallet. The teens were not hurt in the incidents.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
