Police have identified the woman killed after being hit by an FDNY truck in Morrisania Friday night.
According to authorities, 33-year-old Ariel Rosado was crossing Intervale Street when the truck hit her. She was rushed to the hospital but didn't survive.
Witnesses told News 12 the truck had its lights on, and the driver was honking the horn, but Rosado was still hit.
One neighbor said it looked like a really unfortunate accident.
"I know for a fact nobody would do that on purpose," he said. "I would say wait for an investigation and find out what was the call they were on."
Police confirm the truck driver stayed on scene. The case is still under investigation. There are no arrests at this time.
