Police are searching for a man in connection to an attempted robbery in Bed-Stuy.

News 12 is told that a 27-year-old man agreed to meet another man in front of 887 Putnam Ave. to sell a cell phone.

Police say the suspect pretended to have a gun and demanded the other man's property.

The victim ran away and nothing was taken from him.
