Police say the suspect robbed five women within a span of about two weeks in November.
Police say he would sometimes use the scooter to block the women from running. His youngest victim was 17 years old.
One victim was left with injuries on her chest after the suspect failed to steal her chain Nov. 17 in Longwood, according to police.
