A pedestrian was struck by a car and killed in Park Slope early Sunday morning, and officials say the driver left the scene.
The incident happened around 4:40 a.m. at the corner of Fifth Avenue and Ninth Street.
Officials say a car traveling on Ninth Street hit the pedestrian and kept driving.
The 41-year-old victim was taken to Methodist Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly before 5:30 a.m.
Police are searching for the driver and describe his vehicle as a gold Toyota Camry.
