Police say they found a naked man collapsed in the lobby of a Bay Ridge apartment building with multiple stab wounds on Friday afternoon. He was later pronounced dead.
Neighbors told News 12 that blood trails inside the building from an apartment on the fifth floor to where the man was living with his partner.
They say it appears the man took the elevator to the lobby after he was stabbed. A tenant says he saw the victim’s partner run past him down the stairs of the building. That person is currently missing.
Last week, a fire on the top floors of the same building left 13 people displaced.
There was no word on the stabbing victim’s condition.
