Police: Woman killed, man injured after struck by car
Police say a woman has died and another man was injured after being struck by an out-of-control car that jumped a curb in Fort Greene on Sunday. The incident occurred at Fulton Street and South Portland.

Police say a woman has died and another man was injured after being struck by an out-of-control car that jumped a curb in Fort Greene on Sunday.
The incident occurred at Fulton Street and South Portland.
Police say the driver of a tan Suburban was speeding down Fulton Street when he tried to avoid a bus pulling into a station. They say he swerved, jumped the curb and hit the two pedestrians.
Sources say the man was on his way home from his son's basketball game and had his wife in the car.
Police say they arrested the driver, and charges are pending.
