Public Advocate Letitia James released a list of the worst landlords of 2014.

The list chronicles some of the worst landlords in New York City as selected by the Department of Housing Preservation and Development.

Brooklyn landlord Moysha Piller came in as the fifth worst landlord in Brooklyn on the list. Piller owns the building at 2010 Newkirk Ave. in Ditmas Park.

Leaks, rodent infestation and cracked walls are only a few of the major violations inside the building.

The list was created in 2010 and is a cornerstone of the Office of the Public Advocate.

James and the Flatbush Tenant Coalition are stopping by several buildings on the list. James says the list shines a light on negligent landlords and that the tenants themselves need to unite to spark change.

News 12 reached out to Piller, but calls for comment were not returned.
