The R train is back on track Tuesday after a water main break in Bay Ridge.
A street collapse at 4th Avenue and 73rd Street created a sinkhole that swallowed an SUV Monday morning. The collapse was caused by a leaking eight-inch water main under the street. Officials say erosion caused by the water dumped two feet of debris along the R subway line.
Officials say it will take several days to repair the sinkhole.
