Flatbush native Keeth Smart made three trips to the Olympics, finally earning a silver medal in fencing in Beijing in 2008.
Now, he lightly spars on Saturdays.
"I didn't want to be one of those athletes that is pushed out, or is holding on too long," Smart says.
Instead, he helped found a fitness technology company called Physiclo in 2013.
"We integrate resistance bands and panels into compression-wear," Smart says. "So it helps people burn more calories, [and] complete their workouts in 30 minutes versus 45 minutes."
