It's
a great place to exercise and get some fresh air, and it's also the highest
point on the island.

Colton got her steps in when she headed to Jayne's Hill in Melville for this
week's Road Trip: Close to Home.
Jayne's Hill is famous for having the highest elevation on
Long Island – 400 feet above sea level located on the North Shore in West Hills
County Park.
The hill dates back to the 1820s and Walt Whitman hiked it in 1881. Whitman wrote about how it was one of his favorite spots.
