Brooklyn's Saint Francis College has been ranked the 26th best regional college in the North by U.S. News and World.
The magazine ranked the schools that grant fewer than half of their undergraduate degrees in liberal arts and focused on criteria including graduation rates and alumni involvement. Students say they're not surprised the school was recognized and praised the college for its small size and dedicated faculty.
Other local colleges on the list included Brooklyn's Medgar Evers College and the New York City College of Technology. To watch an interview with the provost of St. Francis College, click on News 12 Extra on Optimum TV channel 612.
